BTCCSquare news:

Resolv has suspended protocol functions following a security breach that allowed an attacker to mint $80 million in uncollateralized USR tokens. The platform disabled staking, unstaking, and airdrop claims as containment measures. Core collateral remains intact with $141 million in assets.

The breach occurred via compromised private keys. Resolv's team swiftly paused smart contracts and burned $9 million linked to the attacker. Services will resume only after full security validation.

Recovery efforts now focus on protocol hardening and user reimbursement. The incident underscores persistent vulnerabilities in DeFi's permissionless infrastructure.
